Right now Web 2.0 is a massive trend in internet marketing and it is here to stay. Web 2.0 is basically the development if how we browse the internet, how we share information, and how we can instantaneously create our very own piece of internet real estate. Google loves Squidoo and HubPages which makes the backlink you’re creating all the more powerful. That’s not the only benefit you can get from creating a Squidoo lens or HubPage though.
If you have created an interesting page and been selective in the keywords you’re using, chances are the page will rank well by itself in Google. It’s very common to see different Squidoo lens and HubPages ranking in the top ten results in Google – it happens all the time.
You can make your pages even more “powerful” by linking to them as well. When you submit articles, add a link to one of your Squidoo lens or HubPages in the article signature and you’ll be giving the lens/hub more importance in Google’s eyes.
If you want to increase your search engine rankings, here’s a quick and easy 5 day plan to follow:
Day 1: Create 1 unique HubPage and 1 unique Squidoo page for a topic of interest in your niche. Make sure you link from these pages to your website using anchor text.
Day 2: Create a 2nd unique HubPage and 2nd unique Squidoo page for a topic of interest in your niche. Make sure you link from these pages to your website.
Day 3: Use a social bookmarking service like Twitter or Digg to bookmark your new pages.
Day 4: Create 2 articles. Publish one of them at EzineAritlces.com and one at GoArticles.com. In the signature link to your HubPage’s and Squidoo Len’s
