It’s a well known fact that links are the one thing that have the greatest impact on search engine rankings, but seo link building is not always easy and can be very time consuming. In this article I’m going to give you some advice about different link building methods that I use and how you can incorporate them into your link building plan to get top rankings in Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines.
SEO Link Building Tactic #1 – Leveraging Web 2.0 Properties
The first dead easy link building tactic I use is to leverage Web 2.0 websites. Websites such as Webs.com, Squidoo.com, Tumblr.com, Blogger.com, WordPress.com, Weebly.com, LiveJournal.com and Gather.com allow anyone to create a profile and start adding content. You can add whatever content you like AND you can seo link building into the websites. This is a dead easy strategy that you can control 100%…you don’t have rely on others in order for these links to be published.
SEO Link Building Tactic #2 – Article Marketing
Call me old fashioned but I love article marketing as a SEO link building strategy. Websites such as EzineArticles.com, GoArticles.com, ArticleDashboard.com, ArticlesFactory.com and Amazines.com allow people to submit articles and include 2 links in each article. The links created in these sites can be very powerful because they are inside websites with high page ranks (a key aspect of a powerful link).
Set yourself a goal. Write one article for the next 10 days and submit it to EzineArticles.com. In 10 days time you’ll have 20 powerful links pointing to your website and your websites rankings will receive a powerful boost!
SEO Link Building Tactic #3 – Blog Commenting
Commenting on blogs can be spammy and can result in low quality links (sometimes totally worthless links) when it’s done the wrong way. I’ve made thousands of links using blog comments in the past year and it’s a great strategy to use and it really does boost search engine rankings when done properly.
I find targeting “keyword luv” blogs one of the easiest and most effective strategies to use. When searching for blogs using the keyword luv plugin to make comment links on try using the following process:
1. Search Google using the following search phrase:
your keyword “Enter YourName YourKeywords in the Name field “
For example:
This will give you a list of KeywordLuv blogs that you can then sort using the SEO Quake tool to find the pages with the highest PR. You can then make comments on those.
Tip: To identify blogs that have been updated recently, try including a date in your search phrase. For example:
“affiliate marketing” “January 5, 2011″ “Enter YourName YourKeywords in the Name field “
This process is quick, it’s easy, and it allows you to get links on websites with high page rank!
Of course there is an easier link building strategy and that’s the one I use…it’s not free however which is why I’ve explained a few quality free methods above.
